Growing Jazz hosts educational workshops
to improve local youth musicians
The most intense elements of Growing Jazz in San
Antonio are our efforts to directly improve the
abilities of young local jazz musicians.
Working with established professional jazz
musicians in San Antonio and the South Texas
region, Growing Jazz supports and institutes a
variety of youth jazz workshops to hone the
skills of our local youth talent.
These workshops provide an intimate setting for
our talented local youth to make advances that
will not only improve their musical ability, but
also strengthen their life-long commitment to
this amazing art form.
This year Growing Jazz expands its workshop
efforts even further as we construct a new
series of events specifically designed to work
with local high school and middle school jazz
